We are Hiring! Web Developer (PHP/Symfony) for Harvie software

Position: Web Developer (PHP/Symfony) for Harvie software

We are currently seeking an experienced full-time web developer to be responsible for the code base and continue development of our new Harvie platform (http://harvie.farm) in conjunction with our current remote development team.

Small Farm Central is a 10-year-old, 5-person Pittsburgh based company that serves the technology needs of more than 700 small farms across the United States, Canada, and beyond. Our mission is to help farmers develop more profitable businesses so they can take care of their land, their employees, and their customers.

Our new Harvie platform connects local customers with local farmers using a “farm share” model where customers buy a membership in the farm and get a box of seasonal farm fresh products delivered through the growing season. Harvie brings more members into farm shares with customized boxes, recipe suggestions, flexible payment plans, and other options.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a quickly growing company to solve real-world problems for farms and their members.
