Simon Huntley, Lead Developer
After completing a degree in Information Sciences and Technology at Penn State University, Simon returned to his rural roots with a desire to explore how small farms could create economically vibrant businesses and communities. This interest led him to Rancho Durazno [1] in western Colorado where he took his theoretical interests in local food and agriculture and applied them to diversifying a fruit farm into vegetable production. Throughout his two-year tenure at the farm, he took the opporunity to build his information technology skills by developing websites for the farm and other related businesses. These interests came together with the development of Small Farm Central.
